Forests for Maine’s Future, Augusta, ME. 2013 to present.
I’ve developed a social media & communications plan for FMF and am currently implementing that plan via blog, Facebook, and Twitter, with the goal of increasing the visibility of their outreach and education efforts.
Presumpscot Regional Land Trust, Gorham, ME. 2012 to present.
As PRLT Stewardship Project Coordinator I create management plans and baseline documentation for the land trust’s easements and fee-owned properties. I also do some volunteer coordination and outreach.
Presumpscot River Watershed Coalition, Portland, ME. 2012.
I’ve assisted in the facilitation of two meetings for the PRWC as they determine long-term conservation goals for the Presumpscot River watershed.
Equity Trust, Turners Falls, MA. 2010.
With the Equity Trust, I planned and implemented a set of workshops in Maine on alternative farmland conservation strategies. The target audience of the workshops included farmers, landowners, and non-profit land conservation organizations.
Moosewood Ecological LLC, Chesterfield, NH. 2009.
I worked with Moosewood Ecological to perform wetland assessments for the towns of Peterborough and Chesterfield, NH, as well as provide field testing of remotely sensed data from the New Hampshire Wildlife Action Plan.
Innovative Natural Resource Solutions LLC, Keene, NH. 2008-2009.
As an Associate at INRS I completed projects in land conservation, forestry, renewable energy, economic development, and wildlife management. I conducted research, worked with GIS, served as a grant administrator, and wrote issue papers, grants, and proposals.
Vermont Family Forests, Bristol, VT. 2007-2008.
With VFF I assisted in the design and implementation of a local biomass energy demonstration project. I assessed AMP compliance, collected ecological data, created GIS maps, and coordinated the involvement of local high school students.
